Meeting Federal Energy Mandates for Government Agencies by Energy Huntsville

The first session of the Rocket City Summit is dedicated to helping the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy and the General Services Administration meet their energy and sustainability goals. They can only fulfill their missions with the help of large and small contractors that have the technology and know-how to make their goals realizable.  In these sessions, we have leaders and decision-makers from government acquisitions and execution organizations across the DoD and DoE to share their plans and acquisition forecasts.

Energy Investments with an ROI Are Good for Business by Energy Huntsville

Industry’s assembly line of manufacturing, distribution, construction and operations comes to a halt when energy availability is interrupted, making business and industry keenly sensitive to energy efficiency and security.  Efficient energy operations also boost the bottom line because they can significantly reduce operating costs, resulting in very short-term ROIs. This session is to help industry take advantage of these opportunities for improved energy security and efficiency.

Annual Small Business Forum by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center,

On Wednesday morning all summit exhibitors will be gone and the Rocket City Summit will yield the event facility to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for its USACE Annual Small Business Forum.  This event has been held previously at the Jackson Center, but is being moved this year to the US Space and Rocket Center.

The forum is an opportunity for small business representatives to talk about their capabilities with Huntsville Center contracting officials and program managers and learn about upcoming opportunities to work with Huntsville Center.

The forum is an excellent networking opportunity with many larger businesses looking for small business subcontractors in attendance. In addition, many small business firms with similar interests meet at the event and often team together to go after some of the Center’s larger procurements.  We strongly encourage you to attend.  There is no cost, but you must register.

This event is separate from the Summit and you must register with USACE HNC:
