Mark your calendars and register, today! The Energy Huntsville Fall Innovation Exchange will bring together Leadership from Government, Community, and Industry to discuss Energy, Resiliency, Sustainability, Efficiency, and Security.
Focused sessions on:
- Opening Remarks from Army Leadership This session will provide Army Leadership’s perspective on Energy, Resilience, and the Installations of the Future.
- On the Horizon: A View from Huntsville Energy Leaders This session will focus on the big picture. Why is energy important and why Huntsville? This leadership discussion will focus on energy as a key enabler for economic growth; emergence of communication, digitization and other disruptive technologies; and what is on the horizon for our city and community. Discussions will include community resiliency and DOD’s goal to sustain critical missions via providing necessary utilities and infrastructure for a minimum of 14 days.
- Technology Spotlight 1 – This session will allow Huntsville companies to share their perspective on Energy, Sustainability and Efficiency. Energy is an inevitable cost of doing business. Energy consumption ranges from lights and air conditioning to running machinery and powering production lines. Energy consumption for industrial applications is forecasted to grow. This leadership will focus on industry’s perspective of energy, what is in their plans and what they are doing to reduce energy consumption and improve their manufacturing/business efficiencies. Intended to highlight business in the region and what they are doing on the “energy efficiency” front.
- Technology Spotlight 2 – This session Energy Security. Many companies have increased their budget to support funding for cyber and energy security initiatives, recognizing the seriousness of the threat against critical infrastructure, in line with the 2019 Worldwide Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Community and the National Cyber Strategy.
Energy Huntsville serves the greater Huntsville region by encouraging energy awareness in the areas of conservation, renewable energy, fossil fuels, power generation, energy storage, transportation, building energy efficiency, and energy management. We connect energy enthusiasts, professionals, non-profit and for-profit entities from all energy sectors.
